Talpa FSR 1330

For pipe sizes from DN 150 (lined) to a maximum of DN 300

Talpa FSR 1330 has a standard design for pipes from DN 150 (lined) and can be equipped for pipe sizes to a maximum of DN 300 with the axle extenders and additional weights which can be combined with one another.

The robot is stable in the sewer pipe without requiring additional bracing or securing for the milling work. This is due to its own significant weight and its low center of gravity. Talpa FSR 1330 can tilt more than 45 degrees on its longitudinal axis without falling over.

The robot has a high degree of free mobility. Its equipped tool can reach all areas to be processed in the sewer thanks to four degrees of freedom.

The degrees of freedom in detail are:

Moving the robot carriage forwards or backwards
Orbiting the head of the robot by 200 degrees to each side
Hydraulically raising and lowering the access arm
Endlessly rotating the tooling mount by 360 degrees

The camera mounted on the head can also be pivoted horizontally so that the view can easily be directed to the area being processed in the sewer or the mounted tool.

Pressurized interior space

To protect the interior space of the robot from the penetration of water, this is filled with air and subject to overpressure of 0.2 - 0.3 bar. With Talpa FSR 1330, this can be controlled or adjusted via valves in the center of the carriage and on the head using the air pump with pressure gage.

Multi-functional tooling mount

Various tools can be inserted into the tooling mount of Talpa FSR 1330 depending on the purpose of use. A milling stop (rod) in the center of the access arm can protect the mounted camera from any unintentional repelling of the tool.

If you remove the front part of the tooling mount, HutlinerPackers® or pipe sealing cushions (straight bubbles) can also be placed with Talpa FSR 1330.

Strain relief / reverse driving control

To prevent unintentionally driving over the cable and the related damage when driving in reverse, the robot Talpa FSR 1330 has an integrated reverse driving control function. Here, the strain relief chain between the cable and reverse driving control rocker switch is tensioned. If the cable does not wind up fast enough during reverse driving, the rocker loses contact with the sensor and the reverse driving is prevented until the chain has tensioned itself again. This function can be switched on or off via the digital controls. The strain relief chain also protects the cable connector from tensile forces.

SUITABLE CAMERA MODEL

A camera model is available for Talpa FSR 1330.

MiNa is a pinhole camera with a high-resolution CCD sensor. It provides high-definition images and was developed especially for tough deployment in the sewer.
SUITABLE TOOL DRIVES

There are two air motors available for Talpa FSR 1330.

An air motor specially designed for use in the sewer with M14 connection thread to attach various tools. 750 W power consumption / 6,500 RPM on-load speed / 1.7 Nm stall torque
An air motor specially designed for use in the sewer with M14 connection thread to attach various tools. 800 W power consumption / 6,000 RPM on-load speed / 1.9 Nm stall torque
AXLE EXTENDERS

With the axle extender, the milling and sewer rehab robots can be used with the greatest pipe diameters in a way which causes low strain on their bearings. Thanks to the different axle extenders which can be combined with one another, the area of use of Talpa FSR 1330 can be expanded up to DN 300.

As standard, Talpa FSR 1330 is fitted with an axle extender set upon delivery.

The milling and sewer rehab robot Talpa FSR 1330 is supplied with an axle extender set from DN 150 to DN 300 as standard.

ROBOT WHEELS

The following models are available as wheels for Talpa FSR 1330.

Nonslip solid-rubber tires with a robust nubbed profile
The carbide-surfaced wheel: With special profile for ideal ground holding
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
Die Kameraerhöhung erhöht die Position der angeschlossenen Kamera auf den Fräsroboter Talpa FSR 1330 für einen besseren Blick auf das Hutgummi an dem angekoppelten HutlinerPacker®.
System for the temporary or permanent closure of faulty and blind connections.
Monitored via camera and precise. All points of the sewer can be reached with the connector flushing device, thanks to the third movement axis of the robot arm – the axial rotation.
These special devices developed by Schwalm serve to press short liners, which have been saturated in synthetic resin, onto sockets and tear formations in the main pipe and hat seals into lateral connections.
With the pipe sealing cushions, also known as straight bubbles, short liners can also be used in connection pipes in the lateral connection area.
To prevent the penetration of water, the robots and cameras are subject to overpressure. The hand pump with pressure gage can be used to control or adjust this.
All functions of the milling and sewer rehab robots and the cameras are controlled via the digital box.
The test box available from Schwalm allows customers to perform simple and fast troubleshooting exercises for the robots.
