It is certainly not a regular occurrence that Jochen Zeitler from the technical department and customer service at Schwalm Robotic GmbH gets on a flight to Columbia. But it did happen on 13.03.2016. Having taken off in Frankfurt in Germany, the specialist landed almost 12 hours and 9,100 km later in Bogota. Stopover. The journey continued to the actual destination of Medellin, a further 25 minutes flying time. Based in the city is a sewer renovation company that had purchased a vehicle equipped with a compact crane and drum frame, as well as all supply lines together with two robots (Talpa FSR 1330 and Talpa FSR 2060) and control system during a stay in Germany. Following shipping and successful delivery of the complex and valuable equipment in its entirety, Schwalm Robotic in Asbach received a phone call from Columbia. "Delivery has arrived in perfect condition, we want to begin immediately with training and the installation into the vehicle." Before Jochen Zeitler got on the plane on 13.03.2016, it was possible on the day before to explain the installation of the complete crane and drum frame, which meant that the customer themselves was also able to make a successful contribution. Well prepared, the customer and employees waited for the Schwalm specialist to arrive in order to completely set up the vehicle and receive training on how to operate the robots Talpa FSR 1330 and Talpa FSR 2060 within the ambitious deadline of just one week.
