You’re probably like me. It’s impossible to imagine our everyday life without the internet now. Almost all of us have shopped at Amazon and eBay at least once and now does it regularly. We communicate with friends and acquaintances via social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter and the like. We maintain our professional contacts through Xing. We regularly view the latest videos on YouTube and get involved in topical discussions in forums. All these activities on the interactive World Wide Web (Web 2.0) are grouped under the term “social media”. And even those who do not post online, and I am one of them, has to live with the fact that other people talk about them on the internet. This not only applies for us privately, but also increasingly in the business sector. As a result, more and more companies are discovering communication with various target groups via social networks for themselves and are presenting themselves in a different format on these platforms. We at Schwalm have also been grappling with this subject for a considerable amount of time. Because when you weigh up all the advantages and disadvantages, the power of social networks is still thoroughly fascinating. To get started in the active social media world, we decided to develop a Schwalm channel on YouTube. At <link http: www.youtube.com channel ucjdwbklttdvog4fpu6vsieg>www.youtube.com/channel/UCJDWBKLttDVog4fPu6vSieg, anybody who is interested can find out about our actions, activities and products by watching our videos. Take a look for yourself. We’d be really happy you did. And step by step, Schwalm will be continuing to develop its activities in social media. On platforms such as Facebook and XING, through which we can reach our target groups. And maybe you as well? We look forward to communicating directly with you.
