Forklift trucks play a crucial part in internal transport within the company. Anyone who wants to operate an industrial truck doesn't just need the ability, skill and a pronounced sense of responsibility, but also has to pass the forklift test. No sooner said than done. All Schwalm Robotic employees took this kind of test on the in-house electric forklift truck on 28 September 2018. The six-hour intensive training course was conducted by an external safety officer in the Robotic production hall. Besides a great deal of knowledge being taught, the participants also had a lot of fun and were delighted with the successful qualification after the theory and practical test.

Understand the risks to avoid dangers

We continued with the lifting/aerial platforms training course on 23 November 2018. The majority of the Robotic employees also turned up for this, resulting in them receiving the operating permit for lifting/aerial platforms.
