We all know that fires can have a wide variety of causes. As well as technical defects or unforeseeable events such as a lightning strike, human error is frequently a cause of fire. Most facilities are very well equipped in terms of fire protection, but if no-one on site can operate an available hand-held fire extinguisher, if ignorance leads to fire doors being wedged open, or if no-one knows where the designated assembly point is, then things get difficult or even dangerous for man and machine. In order to prevent this, the Schwalm Robotic employees underwent fire protection training in June 2017. The training (responsibility in fire protection, the job of fire protection assistants, behavior in the event of a fire, putting out fires, escape and emergency routes, sources of ignition and practical fire drills) was carried out on the Schwalm Robotic GmbH company premises by Roland Rüger, Feuerschutz, Bad Hersfeld

Just a few days later, a majority of all Robotic employees in turn completed a red cross first aid course at DRK Bad Hersfeld and were trained as first aiders in the company. The course provided certainty in action for first aid in almost any emergency at work and in leisure time.
