PICOTE is a manufacturer of innovative products for the cleaning, grinding, abrading and cutting of/in channels. It is based in Finland and has a global distribution network. First presented at IFAT 2018, the company is now entering the world of Schwalm robots. A large part of the Picote tools have been adapted and are currently in use with the Talpa 1330 and Talpa 2060 robots. In addition, a new type of air motor and adapter with flexible shafts has been developed for many of these special tools as part of a close collaboration between Schwalm Robotic GmbH, Schwalm USA and the specialists from Picote. Through the Schwalm robots deployed, these tools can now be transported to places which were difficult to reach with the methods used up until now. Thanks to this, Schwalm can expand its range of usable special tools.  To name an example: with the Cyclone Chain Cleaner or the Smart Spider (for clay and cast iron pipes), pipes can be easily cleaned of any deposits and soiling.
