Are you familiar with this? High-pressure jetting of main pipes using conventional cleaning methods leads to typical particle deposits at connecting pipe joins and on projections. This is exactly where a static water jet does not reach. This is regularly the case where pipes connect – we talk about a "shadow effect" here. However, grinding and milling dust has to be carefully removed from the lateral connection's adhesive area to be able to use hat seals successfully. Depending on the size of the sewer, this thorough flushing work can be carried out using our Talpa FSR 1330 or 2060. As in contrast to conventional processes' blind and passive high-pressure jetting, Schwalm robots direct the cleaning jet to the dirt spots in a controlled manner with the aid of the pipe socket flushing device: monitored by camera and with pinpoint accuracy. The robot arm's third motion axis, the axial rotation, allows all points in the sewer to be reached using the pipe socket flushing device. Pipe socket flushing device summary:
