You might not be able to see them – but the new electric cable drum (EK 2.0) that was developed in-house by Schwalm and the new electric double hose reel (ED 2.0) are certainly effective. Optimally installed in the new Schwalm video inspection vehicle, they have both passed their practical tests over the course of several deployments with flying colors. The EK and ED 2.0 communicate directly with the control system. The power and speed can be controlled individually, and manual and automatic operations are possible. The innovative package is completed by a 200 meter long cable drum and a 100 meter long double hose.
