The DEMO DAY of VORTEX Europe AG took place in Vienna on September 27, 2019. A must for everyone who wanted to find out about the current trends in trenchless sewer rehabilitation solutions in Austria. The extensive program included practical demonstrations from VORTEX partners PICOTE SOLUTIONS, QUADEX, RS Technik and SCHWALM ROBOTIC. Over 120 trade visitors accepted the invitation and found out about the latest technologies of sustainable trenchless sewer rehabilitation. On site were Kenny Cochrane, Schwalm USA, and Jochen Zeitler, Head of Technology and Customer Advice at Schwalm Robotic GmbH, Bad Hersfeld-Asbach. In practice-oriented live demonstrations, different milling demonstrations were shown with the sewer rehab robots Talpa FSR 1330 and Talpa FSR 2060. Jochen Zeitler also presented the compact crane and drum frame which was developed by SCHWALM and built under his project management, which includes a large proportion of the supply cables of the sewer rehab robots, with all its functions and demonstrated how this can be installed into an existing or newly planned sewer rehab vehicle with comparatively low effort.
Karl Bissinger, Managing Director of Vortex Europe AG, was very pleased about the lively resonance at the first DEMO DAY in Austria, and announced the next one in 2020 as the guests were leaving.
