Congratulations Dennis Kießner for passing your final Mechatronics Specialist examination. The 20-year-old was seamlessly transferred and, as of February 2018, has been supporting the workshop team at Schwalm Robotic.

As Georg Lingemann began his apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Specialist at Schwalm Robotic in August 2014, it was certainly not certain at the time that the now 20-year-old would be doing a dual Bachelor’s degree at the THM – Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen [the TH Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences] - in the Engineering – Electronic Engineering study program. However, after a successful final examination which took place earlier than expected, the lecture theater doors to further study were opened to him on July 3, 2017. During the three-year dual Bachelor’s degree, a combination of theory at the university and practice at the company fundamentally take place in alternation. During the practical period, the students are employed in their partner company. In Georg Lingemann’s case, that is, of course, his apprenticeship company, Schwalm Robotic GmbH. During his practical period here, he is working on bigger projects which fall into his area of studies. Currently, the aspiring Bachelor is involved in the development of an automatic cable tester, with the aim of saving time during the electronic inspection of cables, and to considerably simplify the process as such. We wish him great success in this, as well as study content which continues to be of interest in the coming semester. The team at Schwalm Robotic is happy to accompany and support you in this endeavor.
