Robots and tools are subjected to enormous strain inside the sewer system. The same applies to the air motors which serve as the drive unit for the tools. Schwalm Robotic supplies suitable air motors with the 1330 and 2060 air motors. These robust powerhouses are built to our precise specifications, especially for use in the sewer. Schwalm Robotic exclusively supplies air motors with a compact design and high torque.

POWER DEVELOPMENT

Torque is the key parameter

Contrary to popular opinion, the wattage is not a meaningful criterion for the power development of a drive system. Wattage tells us something about the power input, the consumption. The deciding factor, however, is the power developed, the torque, expressed in Newton metres (Nm). Schwalm's air motors develop a load torque (working torque) of up to 1.2 Nm. With their high stall torque of up to 2 Nm, they can overcome even the toughest resistance.

Both standard tool attachments from builders' merchants and special tool attachments from Schwalm Robotic can be fitted to the tool holder on the robot arm in just a few steps.

THE VIBRATION-FREE MOTOR EXTENDERS FOR THE AIR MOTOR 2060

The motor extenders allow you to significantly extend the reach of the robot arm. They enable milling work inside connecting pipes with a depth of up to 250 mm. Three different motor extenders are available: 100 mm, 150 mm and 200 mm. Their slim design makes milling work in the connecting pipe easier. The motor extenders work without any vibration since they are isolated from the air motor through a defined coupling. The benefit: the inner workings are spared and maintenance costs are reduced. They are fitted via a screw connection. Compatible with air motor 2060.

M14 UNIVERSAL CONNECTING THREAD

The motor extenders are also fitted with a standardised M14 connecting thread. Mushroom head grinders, "piranhas" and all other standard tools can thus be fitted without a problem.
